Instructions for Mac users

To start an EBSO cloud session on a Mac/OSX, follow the instructions below.

Step 1
If you are a new user of ESBO Light (the cloud version), then register by clicking the "click here to register a new user" link. If you are an existing user, see step 3 below.

Step 2
Fill in the registration form completely and click the Register button, then click the Login button to get back to the login page. After this a confirmation e-mail will be sent to your e-mail address.

Note: You have to click the link in the confirmation e-mail in order to complete the registration.

Step 3
After you have registered, or if you are an existing user, enter your e-mail and click the Login button.

Step 4
A cloud session will be prepared for you. Click the Start here link to continue.

Step 5
Microsoft Remote Desktop protocol file (named "ESBO-Light-<numbers>.rdp) will be downloaded to your Download folder.

Execute the .rdp-file.

Note: You have to have Microsoft Remote Desktop installed on your Mac in order to execute the .rdp-file. You can download Microsoft Remote Desktop for free from the Mac App Store.

Step 6
A login window will be displayed.

Note: Leave the Password field empty and click the OK button.

Step 8
The Microsoft Remote Desktop window will be displayed for a few seconds before ESBO starts.

Note: It may take 10-20 seconds after the login window has disappeared before ESBO starts, so please hang on...

You should now enter the cloud computer and be able to start working with ESBO Light. Enjoy!
